Halton Pride 2008 ...was a great success. Please see our photo gallery for pics! Special thanks to Burlington Community Foundation, Halton Regional Police, Dietrich's, Halton Region, Great Glasses, PetSmart, PFLAG and all our vendors and volunteers. Sponsored in part by HOPE, the S.N.A.P. Committee, the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario - Halton Local, and the Burlington Community Foundation.
HOPE sponsors a social committee that is dedicated to developing and running social events throughout the year leading up to the June Pride events. The committee started out with a focus on the Pride event (which is being planned throughout the year), but really took on a social networking aspect to it. The S.N.A.P. committee is HOPE’s Social Networking And Pride committee. We are always looking for more volunteers and especially welcome to ideas as to what sort of social events you are looking for. Do you have an idea, a venue for us to use, a business that could help??? Let us know at info@haltonpride.org or call the office 905-632-4551. Thank you all for your continued support. We can build a better community together!
